Step 1: Open up your PDF

Access the PDF you are going to use to make your quiz. The example used in this article is a pdf found online.

Here is the example PDF Link: https://www.uww.edu/documents/aaec/academic-success/Test-Anxiety-Quiz.pdf. If you have your own PDF please use yours.

Step 2: Select Create New Quiz

When you log into your dashboard please make sure you select "create new quiz"

Step 3: Select Create a Quiz from Scratch

Because we are using a PDF to create a quiz we would need to make one from scratch.

Step 4: Select a Scored Quiz

The PDF that I am following is based on a point system and we will need to click on "Scored".

Step 5: Copy and paste each question from your PDF into the question section in the dashboard

On the left-hand side of the dashboard You will see the section "questions", click on that section and start working on your first question. make sure you include the answer choices as well. Follow the PDF format which states the answer choices you have to include in each question. Select "add new question" when you move on to the next question.

Step 6: Add points to each answer choice

Once you have added all the questions and the answer choices, before moving on to the result pages we must add points to each answer choice to ensure that the correct point system is in place. As stated in the PDF each answer choice has designated points that you will add to each one. You repeat this process for each question and each answer choice. Hit "save" after you are done with each question.

IMPORTANT: You must do this first before moving on, you will get an error message in the result pages if you skip the scoring step.

Step 7: Create result pages

On the left-hand side of the dashboard click on "results" and start working on result 1. Following the PDF method, you would create 3 result pages to match the 3 buckets of results we will be showcasing to the quiz taker ( this is subject to change depending on how many results you have). Click on "add new result" when you are ready to move to the next one. Repeat the steps until you are done.

Step 8: Assign point range to result pages

Once you have completed making the result pages and naming them it is time to assign the point range to your results. You must go to the bottom right-hand side of each result where it says "result settings" and assign a range of points. You will follow this with each result, and repeat the steps. Follow the PDF above to determine the ranges that are set for each result. Hit "save" after each result to complete it.

Step 7: Create Cover page

On the left-hand side of the dashboard click on "Cover" to complete your quiz cover page. Following the PDF you can create the title that you think would best suit your quiz purpose. Be sure to pose a question and be descriptive in the description box by adding 2-3 sentences on why you want your quiz takers to take this quiz.

Step 8: Design the quiz

Once you have completed the quiz- it is time to design it! select the colors, images, and font that best matches your brand.

Step 9: Connect your quiz to your email marketing software

You would want to enable the "lead generation" section of the quiz, design your opt-in, and also select the email integration you are going to connect your quiz to.

Go here to see the specific guide on how to integrate your email marketing software.

Here are guides on some of the most popular integrations.
