This guide walks you through embedding an Interact quiz directly onto a Square (formerly Weebly) page.
You’ll be able to:
Embed your quiz inline on a page
Control where the quiz appears on the page
Confirm the quiz loads correctly on your live site
Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
An active Interact account
At least one created quiz in Interact
Your quiz is published in Interact
Access to edit your Square Online (formerly Weebly) site
💡 Note: If you don’t see the quiz immediately after adding the embed code, Save/Done your changes and use Preview/View site to confirm the quiz is showing.
Step 1. Get your Interact direct embed code
Log in to Interact.
Locate the quiz you want to embed.
Click the Share & Embed tab.
Click Embed Code.
Click the Javascript tab.
Click Copy Code.
❗ Important: Always copy the embed code from the quiz’s Share & Embed tab (not from the browser address bar URL).
Step 2. Add the embed code to Square (formerly Weebly)
You’ll paste your Interact embed code into Square (formerly Weebly) where you want the quiz to appear.
Embed on a Square Online page using an Embed code section
Log in to your Square Dashboard.
From the left-hand side of the dashboard, select Online.
Select Online Store.
In the Website area, click Edit site.
Navigate to the page where you want the quiz to appear.
Click Add section.
Scroll to (or search for) Embed code, then select it.
Click the embed area/container you want to use.
Paste your Interact embed code into the embed/code box.
Click Done
💡 Note: Some embedded content may not fully render while you’re editing. After saving, use Preview/View site to confirm the quiz is loading.
Step 3. View the quiz on your live page
Click Save/Done in Square (or Publish if required to update your live site).
Use Preview/View site to confirm the quiz loads.
💡 Tip: If you don’t see the quiz while editing, this is expected in many cases—check the saved/preview version of the page.
Step 4. Test the Embed
Confirm the quiz works end-to-end on your Square (formerly Weebly) page.
Load the page where you embedded the quiz.
Take the quiz as a visitor would.
If your quiz includes an opt-in form, submit the form to confirm it appears and can be completed.
⚠️ Warning: If you’re testing an opt-in form, use a real email you can access so you can verify follow-up emails (if you have them enabled).
Step 5. Publish your Square (formerly Weebly) changes
Square/Weebly changes won’t be visible to visitors until they’re saved and your page is publicly accessible.
In the site editor, click Publish.
Confirm the page you embedded the quiz on is accessible to visitors (not hidden or restricted).
❗ Important: If you embed the quiz but don’t Publish, the quiz won’t appear for visitors.
