This guide walks you through adding your Interact quiz link to a Square pop-up.
You’ll be able to:

Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
An active Interact account
At least one created quiz in Interact
Your quiz is published in Interact
Access to edit your Square Online store
❗ Important: This method uses a Square pop-up with an Action Button that links to your quiz. The quiz itself does not display inside the Square pop-up.
Step 1. Get your Interact quiz link
Log in to Interact.
Locate the quiz you want to add to your Square site.
Click the Share & Embed tab.
Click Share Link on the left sidebar.
Click Copy Code.
❗ Important: Always copy the link from the quiz’s Share & Embed tab (not from the browser address bar URL).
Step 2. Add The Quiz Link to a Square Pop-Up
You’ll create a pop-up in Square, then add your Interact quiz link to the pop-up’s action button.
Add Quiz link to your Square site as a Pop-UP
Log in to Square.
On the left-hand side of the dashboard, select Online.
Select Online store.
Go to your Communications section on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Under that section, click Pop-ups.
Once in the Pop-up section, select the Make an announcement template to get started.
In the announcement bar section, modify the Text and style to fit the copy for your quiz pop-up:
Change the Title section to your quiz title.
Change the Text section to your quiz description.
Go to the Action Buttons section.
Click Add link.
Go back to your Interact quiz link you copied, then in Square:
Click the Add link box so you can add the quiz link in there.
Select the appropriate Website page and insert the quiz link.
Click Save when you are done.
💡 Note: If you have multiple pop-ups or page rules in Square, make sure the pop-up you’re editing is the one that’s active for the pages you want.
Step 3. View the pop-up on your live page
In Square, preview the pop-up to make sure it displays as expected.
Click Publish when you are ready.
💡 Tip: If you don’t see the pop-up immediately, check your pop-up display settings (timing, targeting, and any frequency controls) inside Square.
Step 4. Test the Embed
Confirm the pop-up works end-to-end on your Square site.
Load a page where the pop-up should appear.
Wait for the pop-up to appear (based on your Square settings).
Click the pop-up Action Button.
Confirm the button opens your Interact quiz link.
⚠️ Warning: If you change the pop-up’s button destination later, re-test on desktop and mobile to confirm the link is still correct.
Step 5. Publish your Square changes
Square changes won’t be visible to visitors until they’re published.
Click Publish.
Confirm the page where you expect the pop-up to show is publicly accessible (not hidden or restricted).
❗ Important: If you add the link but don’t Publish, visitors won’t see the updated pop-up.
