This guide walks you through embedding an Interact quiz directly onto a Carrd site using an Embed element.
You’ll be able to:
Embed your quiz inline on a Carrd site
Control where the quiz appears on the page
Confirm the quiz loads correctly on your live site
Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
An active Interact account
At least one created quiz in Interact
Your quiz is published in Interact
Access to create or edit your Carrd site
A Carrd Pro Standard plan or higher
💡 Note: Carrd embeds won’t render inside the site builder. You’ll need to publish and view the live site to confirm the quiz is showing.
Step 1. Get your Interact direct embed code
Log in to Interact.
Locate the quiz you want to embed.
Click Share & Embed.
Click Embed Code in the left sidebar.
Click the Iframe tab.
Click Copy code.
❗ Important: Always copy the iframe embed code from the quiz’s Share & Embed area, not from the browser address bar URL.
Step 2. Add the Embed Code to Carrd
You’ll paste your Interact iframe code into a Carrd Embed element where you want the quiz to appear.
Embed on a Carrd site using an Embed element
Log in to Carrd.
From your Carrd dashboard, click + New Site or open the existing site where you want to embed the quiz.
In the Carrd builder, click the + icon to add an element.
Click Embed.
An Embed box container will appear on your site.
Paste your Interact iframe code into the Code section.
Click Done.
Step 3. View the Quiz on your Live Site
Click the Publish this site icon in Carrd.
If you’re publishing the site for the first time, enter a Title and Description.
Choose an Action and enter your site URL.
Click Publish.
Click View Site to confirm the quiz loads.
💡 Tip: If you don’t see the quiz while editing, this is expected. Check the published version of your Carrd site instead.
Step 4. Test the Embed
Confirm the quiz works end-to-end on your Carrd site.
Load the published site where you embedded the quiz.
Take the quiz as a visitor would.
If your quiz includes an opt-in form, submit the form to confirm it appears and can be completed.
⚠️ Warning: If you’re testing an opt-in form, use a real email address you can access so you can verify follow-up emails if you have them enabled.
Step 5. Publish your Carrd changes
Carrd changes won’t be visible to visitors until your site is published.
If you made changes after testing, return to the Carrd builder.
Click the Publish this site icon.
Click Publish Changes.
Click View Site and confirm the updated quiz is accessible to visitors.
❗ Important: If you embed the quiz but don’t publish your Carrd changes, the quiz won’t appear for visitors.
