Steps for this integration:

Create your Interact quiz results

Step 1: Set up your Interact quiz results.

Show quiz results and email them

To show your quiz takers their quiz result right away, create quiz result pages in your Interact account.

Email quiz results and don’t show them

To send quiz results without showing them, title the quiz result in Interact so you know which result they got, and include a thank you note or preview of their quiz result, telling your lead to go check their inbox to get their full result.

Create quiz result emails

Step 2: In your Podia account, click on the Audience tab, then click Tags.

Step 3: Click + New tag, name the tag with one of your quiz results, then click Create tag. Do this for each of your quiz results.

Step 4: Open the Email tab, then click Start campaign.

Step 5: Complete the details for your campaign, including:

  • Entrance Conditions: Click on Condition, then choose Tagged with, and choose one of your quiz result tags. Then click Apply.

Step 6: In the Emails section, click + New Email.

Step 7: Create your email, then click Done.

Be sure to setup the delay based on when you want your quiz taker to receive their email. For example, for your quiz taker to receive their email right away set the delay to 0 days.

Step 8: When your email is ready, click Done. From here you can either choose Finish later to send the sequence with just 1 email, or click + New email to create a longer sequence.

Step 9: When you’ve completed the Campaign details and set up your emails, click Run, then click Run campaign.

Step 10: Repeat steps 4 through 9 to create a campaign for all of your desired quiz results.

Integrate your Interact quiz with Podia

Step 11: Open the quiz in your Interact Quiz Maker Account and toggle On the Lead Generation button. Configure the quiz opt in form to your liking then click Save & Continue.

Step 12: Choose Zapier from the list of direct integrations.

Step 13: Copy the Interact API key and open your Zapier account.

Setup Zapier with Interact

Step 14: Click + Create Zap.

Step 15: Click Trigger, then search and select Interact as the Trigger App. Select New Lead as the Trigger Event and click Continue.

Step 16: Click Choose, then click + Connect a new account, and paste the Interact API Key you copied in Step 13, and click Yes, Continue to Interact.

Step 17: Click Continue then choose your quiz from the Quiz dropdown and click Continue.

Step 18: Test your connection to Interact by clicking Test Trigger. This will pull in test leads, ie. Lead A. Click Continue.

Step 19: Search and choose Podia as the Action App. Then choose Subscribe someone from the Event dropdown and click Continue.

Step 20: Log in to your Podia account and click Continue.

Step 21: Update the following fields and also match up any other fields that you have on your Interact quiz opt in form, ie. Last Name then click Continue.

  • Tag: Choose one of your quiz result tags from the dropdown

  • Email: choose the Interact email option

  • First name: choose the Interact first name option

Step 22: Click the + icon between the Trigger and Action boxes in your Zap and choose Filter.

Step 23: Update the following fields then click Continue.

  • Choose field: Choose Tag from the dropdown

  • Choose condition: choose (Text) Contains from the dropdown

  • Enter text or insert data: Type of copy/paste your quiz result title (as it matches the result title in Interact)

Step 24: At the bottom of the Zap, click Test Action to confirm the Zap works. Note, the test lead’s email must contain the quiz result so they pass through the filter you just added. If so, click Publish.

Step 25: Repeat steps 14 through 24 for each of your quiz results. You should have 1 Zap per quiz result.

Step 26: Return to Interact and press Activate Connection to finish the set up within Interact.

Step 27: Click Publish, then click Publish Changes.
