This guide walks you through adding an Interact quiz announcement bar to a ClickFunnels page.
You’ll be able to:
Add your quiz as an announcement bar across your ClickFunnels pages
Control when and where the announcement bar shows
Confirm the announcement bar loads correctly on your live site
Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
An active Interact account
At least one created quiz in Interact
Your quiz is published in Interact
Access to edit your ClickFunnels site
💡 Note: If you don’t see the announcement bar immediately after adding the embed code, Save your changes and use Preview to confirm it’s showing. Also check your Timer Delay (you may need to wait a few seconds before it appears).
Step 1. Get your Interact Announcement Bar Embed Code
Log in to Interact.
Locate the quiz you want to promote.
Click the Share & Embed tab.
Click Announcement bar on the left sidebar.
Toggle on Promote [Quiz Name] in the announcement bar.
You can have 1 quiz announcement bar running at a time.
Customize your announcement bar settings (as needed).
We recommend a Timer Delay of 5–10 seconds.
We suggest a Hiatus of at least 10 days (so returning visitors don’t see it repeatedly).
(Optional) Create your Announcement rules.
Use rules to show the announcement bar on specific pages only, or to prevent it from showing on certain pages.
This is not required—you can skip this if you want it to run site-wide.
Click Copy Code.
❗ Important: Always copy the announcement bar code from the quiz’s Share & Embed tab (not from the browser address bar URL).
Step 2. Add the Embed Code to ClickFunnels
You’ll paste your Interact announcement bar code into ClickFunnels so it can load on your page(s).
Embed on a ClickFunnels page using the Header Code section
Log in to ClickFunnels.
From the left-hand side of the dashboard, select Apps.
Select Site Pages.
Find the page you want to add the announcement bar to, then click the Pencil icon to edit. (If you do not have a site, please create one by clicking on new site page.)
On the site page, click the Settings (emoji) icon.
Select Show Code.
Click the Header Code tab.
Paste your Interact announcement bar code into the Header Code section.
Click Save.
Step 3. View the Announcement Bar on your Live Page
Click Save in ClickFunnels.
Click the eye icon to Preview the page and confirm the announcement bar loads.
Wait for your Timer Delay (for example, 5–10 seconds) and confirm the bar appears.
Click the announcement bar to confirm it opens your quiz.
💡 Tip: If you don’t see the announcement bar while editing, this is expected in many cases—check the saved/preview version of the page.
Step 4. Test the Embed
Confirm the announcement bar and quiz work end-to-end on your ClickFunnels page.
Load the page where you added the announcement bar.
Wait for the announcement bar to appear.
Click the bar and take the quiz as a visitor would.
If your quiz includes an opt-in form, submit the form to confirm it appears and can be completed.
⚠️ Warning: If you’re testing an opt-in form, use a real email you can access so you can verify follow-up emails (if you have them enabled).
Step 5. Publish your ClickFunnels changes
ClickFunnels changes won’t be visible to visitors until they’re saved (and your page is publicly accessible).
In the page editor, click Save.
Confirm the page you added the code to is accessible to visitors (not hidden or restricted).
❗ Important: If you add the code but don’t click Save, the announcement bar won’t appear for visitors.

In Interact, open the new quiz you want to promote.
Go to Share & Embed → Announcement bar → Javascript.
Toggle on Promote [Quiz Name] in the announcement bar for the new quiz.
Confirm the correct announcement bar settings (and any Announcement rules) are set.
Click Copy Code.
In ClickFunnels, open the page, go to Settings (emoji) → Show Code → Header Code, and replace the existing code if needed, then click Save.
