Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
An active Interact account
At least one created quiz in Interact
Your quiz is published in Interact
Access to edit your Squarespace site
💡 Note: Announcement Bar changes typically won’t show until you Save and view your site live (or in preview).
Step 1. Get your Interact quiz share link
You’ll use your quiz’s share link (not an embed code) for the Squarespace Announcement Bar.
Log in to Interact.
Locate the quiz you want to add to your Announcement Bar.
Click the Share (or Share & Embed) tab.
Click Share Link.
Click Copy (to copy the quiz link).
❗ Important: Copy the quiz link from the quiz’s Share area (not from the browser address bar URL).
Step 2. Add the quiz link to Squarespace
You’ll paste your Interact quiz link into Squarespace’s Announcement Bar settings.
Add an Announcement Bar in Squarespace (Attach Link)
Log in to Squarespace.
From the left menu under Website, click Pages.
Under Pages, locate Marketing Tools.

In the Announcement Bar settings, select Attach link.
Paste your Interact quiz link into the link field.
Click Save.
❗ Important: If you don’t click Save, the Announcement Bar won’t appear to visitors.
Step 3. View the quiz on your live site
Click Save (if you haven’t already).
Open your website in a new tab to confirm the Announcement Bar is visible and the link opens your quiz.
💡 Tip: If you don’t see the Announcement Bar while editing, check the saved/live version of your site.
Step 4. Test the embed
Confirm the full flow works from your Squarespace Announcement Bar.
Load your site as a visitor would.
Click the Announcement Bar link.
Take the quiz end-to-end.
If your quiz includes an opt-in form, submit the form to confirm it appears and can be completed.
⚠️ Warning: If you’re testing an opt-in form, use a real email you can access so you can verify follow-up emails (if you have them enabled).
Step 5. Publish your Squarespace changes
Squarespace changes won’t be visible to visitors until they’re saved (and your site is publicly accessible).
Confirm you clicked Save in the Announcement Bar settings.
If your site is not public, make sure your Squarespace site settings allow visitors to access your site.
❗ Important: If you add the link but don’t Save, your Announcement Bar won’t be visible to visitors.
