In this article we will look at how you can use interact quiz builder to add a quiz announcement bar to your Showit landing page. Before beginning this process you'll need to create a quiz for your landing page.

Step 1: Log in to your interact dashboard and click "Share & Embed" on your quiz you want to promote.

In the box that comes up, click on "Announcement Bar" on the left sidebar and the “Javascript” tab appears.

Toggle on the button for “Promote [Quiz Name] in the announcement bar.” You can have 1 quiz announcement bar running at a time.

Step 2: Customize your announcement bar with the desired options.

We recommend a 2 second delay as it draws more attention to the banner and a 10+ day hiatus so people don't see it again if they take the quiz.

Step 3: Click “Copy Code.”

Step 4: Now go over to Showit and open the landing page you want your quiz announcement bar to appear on.

Step 5: Ensure you’re on the Home page, then on the right side of the page click Advanced Settings.”

Step 6: Paste the embed code from interact into the box “Custom Head HTML” and click “Save.”

Step 7: Click "Publish."

Step 8: Go to your landing page and make sure the announcement bar is displaying correctly. You can go back to step 2 and edit settings in interact quiz builder to change how/when the announcement bar shows up and how it looks.
