Steps for this integration:
Find your Moosend API Key:
Step 1: Log into Moosend, select "More" and hit "Settings."
Step 2: Under Settings select "API Key."
Under API Key, you will copy your Moosend API key to connect to Interact.
You will paste this API Key in the later steps in your Interact Dashboard.
Creating a List in Moosend:
Step 1: On the Moosend home page, select "Audience", then hit "Email List."
Step 2: Hit "New" and then "Email List."
Step 3: We recommend creating a list for each Quiz Result. Name your email list the same name as your Quiz Result Name. Hit "Create List."
Creating a Custom Field in Moosend:
Step One: Select your Email List in Moosend. Select "Create Custom Field" and then hit "Add New Custom Field"
Step 2: Type in your desired Field Name and hit "Save Custom Field"
You will need to add a custom field for each of your Email Lists in Moosend
Connect Moosend to your Interact Quiz:
Step 1: Turn on "Lead Generation" on the Interact app builder left sidebar.
To create your Opt-In Form, select the Contact Field information you would like to collect from your quiz takers. Scroll down and click "Save & Continue."
Step 2: Under Connect your email list, choose Moosend from the list of integrations.
Step 3: Paste your Mossend API Key in the pop up window and click "Connect".
Map Interact Triggers to Moosend Actions:
Step 1: Under "Results", click the Add Action button.
You will set a Trigger for each Quiz Result.
When a quiz taker takes the quiz and receives the specific Quiz Result this will Trigger the following Actions.
Step 2: *Required* Under "Add to List", click the drop down menu and choose a Moosend contact list.
We recommend creating a email list for each Quiz Result in Moosend so that for a quiz result trigger, you could connect different results to different contact lists to send autoresponders specific to the quiz result your quiz takers receives.
Step 3: *Optional* You then have the option to "Update Custom Field". You can choose a Moosend custom field to match a specific value. Then hit "Save."
In this example, the quiz maker made a custom field entitled "Quiz Result Title" in Moosend.
The custom field of "Quiz Result Title" will populate with the value of the quiz result in Moosend.
Step 4: Once finished with one trigger, you can select a different trigger from the left sidebar for each Quiz Result. When you have set all triggers that you need for your specific setup, be sure to click Save & Continue.
Step 5: *Optional* You are then taken to "Answers."
If desired, repeat steps 2 and 3 to set a Trigger for specific Quiz Answers. When a quiz taker takes the quiz and chooses the specific quiz answer this will Trigger the following Actions. When you have set all the triggers you need for your specific setup, click Save & Continue.
You can also skip this step and click "Save and continue."
Customize Moosend Settings:
By default Moosend requires subscribers to confirm their intent to subscribe.
You have the option to check the box to skip this requirement.
By clicking the box, this will flag new subscribers as having provided subscription consent by other means.
Map Form Fields to Moosend Custom Fields
Step 1: Here you will find an overview of the way your opt-in form fields are sent to Moosend.
Default fields (cannot be changed): Email, First Name, Last Name and Phone Number
Step 2: For all other fields, choose one contact field from the dropdown that you would like to populate with the form value. Example: mapping Company Name to "Custom Field 1" will populate the value inputted for Company Name into the Moosend custom field "Custom Field 1".
Step 3: When finished with mapping your form fields, be sure to click Save & Continue. If you find you need to make changes, you may edit the integration settings at any time.
Test your Moosend Connection:
Step 1: Test your Integration by selecting "Test Integration"
This will Send test contact information to your Moosend account to test your integration setup.
Step 2: Once your test is successful, Click Publish in the builder header
then click Publish changes to start collecting leads.
