Sharing Quiz to Instagram Reel
Step 1: Record your video to later upload as a Reel.
Options for recording:
Talking to the camera — introduce the quiz and invite people to take it.
Screen recording — show the quiz in action (use your phone’s screen recorder).
B-roll footage — pair visuals (like your product, lifestyle clips, or quiz results) with a voiceover.
Keep it short and engaging — 10–20 seconds is ideal.
Step 2: Open the Instagram App and log in to your account
Step 3: Tap the + (Plus) Button and select “Reel.”
Step 4: Select the video from your video library and hit "Next."
Step 5: Edit Your Reel and hit "Next"
Add text overlays (e.g., “Take the Quiz!” “Link in bio!”).
Tap the music note 🎵 to add trending audio.
Use the scissors icon to trim clips if needed.
Step 6: Write Your Caption
Step 7: Add a Cover Image (Optional)
Tap “Edit Cover”, choose a frame or upload your own image, then tap Done.
Step 8: Tag Products or People (Optional)
Tap “Tag people” or “Tag product” if relevant.
Step 9: When you’re happy with your edits, tap Done—your Reel will be posted and visible on your profile grid.
Connecting to ManyChat
Creating a ManyChat Automation
Step 1: Log in to your ManyChat account and click on Automation in the left-hand menu.
Then click + New Automation.
Step 2: Select "Auto-DM links from Comments."
Step 3: Connect your Instagram account to ManyChat and choose the specific Instagram post or Reel you want to link to your quiz.
Click Next to continue.
Step 4: Set the Trigger Word
Under “And this comment has”, enter the specific keyword that will trigger the DM.
Click Next.
Step 5: Create Your DM Message
Decide whether to turn the Opening DM on or off.
Write the message you want to send in the DM. This is where you’ll introduce your quiz.
Click “+ Add A Link” to insert the link into your message.
Step 6: Get Your Quiz’s Live Link
Go to your Quiz Dashboard in Interact.
Click “Share & Embed” next to the quiz you want to use.
Under the “Share Link” section, click Copy Link.
Step 7: Add Button Label and Quiz Link
Add a button label (like “Take the Quiz”) and paste in your quiz's live link.
Click Save, then hit Next.
Step 8: You can choose optional settings for follow-up actions
These are helpful but not required.
Step 9: Preview and Launch
Preview how your DM will appear.
Once you're happy with it, click “Go Live.”
Anyone who comments on your selected Instagram post with the keyword you chose will automatically receive a DM with your quiz link.
This is how the message and link will appear.
Connect your quiz to Flodesk
Steps to Complete Before Connecting Your Quiz to Flodesk:
Step 1: In Flodesk, go to Audience. Under Audience, select Segments.
Step 2: Create a segment for each of your quiz results by hitting "New Segment"
We recommend naming your segments the same name as your quiz result.
Step 3: If you want to add a Custom Field, select All Subscribers.
Then click on a subscriber's name.
Step 4: Under that subscriber, select "Segments and Data"
Step 5: Scroll down to Subscriber Data and then click "+ Add Custom Field"
Step 6: Name your Custom field and then hit Save.
*For a scored style quiz, add the custom field of "Quiz Score Value" *
How to Connect Your Quiz to Flodesk:
Step 1: Turn on "Lead Generation" on the Interact app builder's left sidebar.
To create your Opt-In Form, select the Contact Field information you would like to collect from your quiz takers.
Scroll down to customize your Opt-In Form and click "Save & Continue " when finished with your Opt-In Form.
Step 2: Under Connect your email list, choose Flodesk from the list of integrations.
Step 3: Enter your Flodesk credentials and click Allow to authorize your Flodesk account to Interact.
Map Interact Triggers to Flodesk Actions:
Step 1: On the Results tab, click the Add Action button.
Step 2: In the slide-out menu setup the desired Flodesk options below that you want to run.
Add to Segment: Choose the Flodesk segment you want to add your leads to from the drop-down. For example, you can connect different results to different segments to send automated emails specific to the quiz result the lead received.
Update Custom Field: If you want to use the quiz result name in your emails, select a Flodesk custom field to populate with the result name. Once you select the custom field you can edit the value that you want to appear in your emails for the specific result. For example, you could create a custom field “Quiz Result” and populate the field with the result name.
Hit Save once you’ve set up the triggers for the first result
Step 3: Next select the next result to map actions for or if you want to set up the same actions for all results select Apply to all results.
When you have set all the triggers that you need for your specific setup, click Save & Continue.
Step 4 (optional): If desired, repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 to segment leads based on any quiz answers they chose. When you have set all the triggers you need for your specific setup, click Save & Continue.
To skip this step, just hit "Save and Continue"
Step 5: Under Settings, decide to either have a double opt-in or continue without a double opt-in form.
By default, Flodesk does not require subscribers to confirm their intent to subscribe.
Check the checkbox if you want your quiz leads to double opt-in, or confirm their subscription via email after subscribing to the quiz.
Then select Save & Continue.
Map Form Fields to Flodesk Custom Fields
Step 1: Ensure the Interact opt-in fields are mapped to the appropriate Flodesk custom fields.
For example, mapping Quiz Score Value to “Quiz Score Value” populates the lead's Quiz Score, custom field, in Flodesk.
Step 2: When finished with mapping your form fields, click Save & Continue.
Step 3: Test your Integration to Flodesk.
Step 4: Publish your quiz to start collecting leads. Click Publish in the builder header then click Publish changes.
You can republish your quiz any time you want to make changes to the integration and your quiz will update anywhere it's already published and embedded.
Embed the quiz code on your Squarespace page
Step 1: Login to your Squarespace Website
Click on "Website"
Then click on "Pages"
Step 2: Once you are on pages,
Then click on + icon,
Then click on "blank page"
Step 3: On the new page you created
Click on "edit"
Step 4: On the new page, click on "add section"
Step 5: On the page that populates, click on "Add a blank section."
Step 6: Click on "Add Block"
Then click on the "embed" option
Step 7: Once the container Box populates
Click on the "pencil icon"
Step 8: Click on "code snippet"
Then click on "embed data"
Step 8: Go to your Interact quiz and copy the Javascript code from your dashboard.
Click "Copy Code" then go back to Squarespace website
Click on "embed data" and paste the code
Then click on "save" when done
Step 9: You can now see your quiz on your website page
Make sure everything functions as desired
