Map Form Fields to Keap Contact Fields
Connect your Keap account to your Interact app:
Step 1: Turn on "lead generation" on the Interact app builder left sidebar.
To create your Opt-In Form, select the Contact Field information you would like to collect from your quiz takers
Scroll down to customize your Opt-In Form (The Opt-In Form will appear after your quiz taker answers the last quiz question but before receiving the Quiz Result)
Click "Save & Continue " when finished with your Opt-In Form.
Step 2: Under Connect your email list, choose Keap from the list of integrations.
Step 3: Authorize Keap to Interact
Step 4: Ensure the connection is successful
Upon entering credentials and allowing access you should get a green "connected account" check mark. This verifies that it has been connected and you can move on to the next step.
Map Interact Triggers to Keap Actions:
Step 1: Under "Results", click the Add Action button.
In the following steps you will have the chance to map a set of Keap actions to individual Interact triggers. A trigger can be, for example, when a quiz taker receives a specific quiz result or answers a specific quiz answer.
You will set a Trigger for each Quiz Result.
When a quiz taker takes the quiz and receives the specific Quiz Result this will Trigger the following Actions.
Step 2: In the slideout menu, you will see a list of available actions to run in Keap.
The available actions are:
Run Action Set: Choose a Keap action set from the dropdown to run on new contacts. Example: For a quiz answer trigger, you could connect different action sets to different answers to run specific action sets depending on what a quiz taker answers in your quiz.
Update Custom Field: Choose a Keap custom field from the dropdown to update the custom field for new contacts with a specific value. The value will auto-populate with the trigger name, but you can customize this with any value you want. Example: For a quiz result trigger, you could choose the Keap custom field "Quiz Result Title" from the dropdown and populate the field with the quiz result title for your quiz.
Add Tag to Contact: Choose either to add a tag to the contact with a default value or with a custom value that you provide by selecting from the dropdown.
Step 3: Once finished with one trigger, you can select a different trigger from the left sidebar.
When you have set all triggers that you need for your specific setup, be sure to click Save & Continue.
Step 4: *Optional* you are taken to "Answers".
If desired, repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 to set a Trigger for specific Quiz Answers. When a quiz taker takes the quiz and chooses the specific quiz answer this will Trigger the following Actions. When you have set all the triggers you need for your specific setup, click Save & Continue.
You can also skip this step and click "Save and Continue."
Map Form Fields to Keap Custom Fields
Step 1: Here you will find an overview of the way your opt-in form fields are connected to Keap custom fields.
All fields are list-specific, meaning we list out all connected contact lists and their associated fields. You will map custom fields on a per-list basis. Default fields (cannot be changed): Email, First Name, Last Name
Step 2: For all other fields, choose one custom field from the dropdown that you would like to populate with the form value.
Example: mapping Company Name to "Custom Field 1" will populate the value inputted for Company Name into the Infusionsoft custom field "Custom Field 1".
Step 3: When finished with mapping your form fields, be sure to click Save & Continue.
If you find you need to make changes, you may edit the integration settings at any time.Β
Step 4: Test Integration
Select Test Integration to test your Integration to Keap. When it is successful, hit Publish on your quiz.
IMPORTANT: If your quiz is already published and embedded, any changes made to the integrations will require you to publish your quiz after changes have been saved.
Frequently Asked Questions

How do you create new Keap custom fields?
Step 1: In your Keap account, navigate to Admin -> Settings.
βStep 2: Under Custom Fields section, ensure Set up custom fields for is set to Contact, and click Go.

How do contact tags get created in Keap?
All tags get created in Keap "on-the-fly". This means that every time a quiz taker takes your quiz (or contact information is submitted via the Test Integration step) our system checks all applicable tags to add to a contact based on their answers and results. For each tag value we check if that tag has been created or not in Keap, and, if not, we create the tag in Keap with the specified value. If the tag has already been created in Keap, nothing is created in Keap.
So in order for all tags to be created in Keap, all quiz results and answers must be either selected by a quiz taker (or chosen via the Test Integration opt-in form).
What will a contact tag look like in Keap?
All new tags are stored in a new tag category called Interact Tags. This tag category gets created upon authorization of your Keap account. The following screenshot is an example of what a contact will look like when a tag is successfully applied (found under the Tags tab within a contact profile):
