Step 1: Promote on your website navigation
This is our recommended quiz promotion strategy for coaches, course creators, authors, and service providers. If you fall into any of those broad categories then there is a standard way of promoting your quiz that we've seen to work best for our customers over the last 11 years.
Quizzes convert best when you show them to people who have clicked on your website URL or Link in Bio because those people are choosing to engage with you a little bit more than just watching, reading, or listening to your content. That's the point where quizzes are really good at converting those people into email subscribers you can nurture into sales. Quizzes can directly influence 1:1 bookings and course or digital product sales, but the primary benefit is gathering email subscribers who warm up over time into customers.
The absolute best way to get your quiz in front of people is to put it as the primary call to action on your website. The primary button that people see when they land on your site. Here's what the looks like on kayeputnam.com
When you click that button it takes you to where the quiz is embedded on her website and you can take the quiz. We recommend putting this on yoursite.com/quiz so you can always send people to that URL to take your quiz from every source. This is how we ideally recommend setting up the quiz on your website.

If you're not willing to give up the #1 spot on your website for the quiz, you can give it the #2 spot, which typically looks like a header banner or a link in the main navigation of your site.

Step 2: Promote as a header bar or popup
Here's an example of a header bar. This is done using the built-in header bar from Squarespace, I would recommend doing it that way. We do have a header bar you can use from Interact, but if you use the one that's built into your website builder it's better because it looks more integrated.

Here's what a popup looks like. Again this is done using a built-in popup tool that links to your quiz page.
Part 3: Promoting the quiz in your link in bio
The other place to promote your quiz is in your link in bio. Here's an example from @wholeparent where they have their quiz included in their link in bio. You add the same quiz link where your quiz is embedded, or you can use the direct quiz link for this one if you are not using a website.

Part 4: Promoting your your quiz with social media posts
Once your quiz is on your website and link in bio, which is what will give you the long-term consistency of leads and customers coming in through the quiz, you can launch your quiz through social media posts if you would like. Here are guidelines on how to do so.
Promoting through an Instagram post/reel
This has been the most popular promotion option recently, especially using reels to promote quizzes. Here's how people are doing it.
