This guide walks you through connecting Interact with Kajabi via Zapier so quiz leads are automatically submitted to a Kajabi form. You’ll be able to:
Send quiz leads to Kajabi in real time
Store the quiz result on the Kajabi form submission
Use Kajabi form automations (like email sequences) after a form is submitted
Step 1. Create a form in Kajabi
Before you connect anything in Zapier, create a Kajabi form where your quiz leads will be sent.
Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.
From your dashboard, go to Marketing > Forms.
Click + New Form.
Name your form, then click Save.
On your Kajabi form, decide if you want a Single Opt‑In or Double Opt‑In form.
Under Form Fields, click + Add Form Field.
Click Create a New Field.
Create a field to store your quiz result. To ensure this integration works correctly, the following must be completed exactly as shown:
Title: Interact Quiz Result
Field type: Text
Check to make this field required
Hit Save
Under Automation, click + Add Automation.
Set up the automation trigger:
Set the trigger to Form submitted
Under When form is submitted, select your form by name
Click + Add Filter
Set the filter to Result contains
Enter your quiz result name exactly as it appears on your Quiz Result Page title
Click Apply, then click Save Trigger
❗ Important: For Kajabi’s condition matching to work consistently, make sure your corresponding quiz result titles match exactly in Interact.
11. Click Then and Subscribe to an email sequence
12. Under Action name, select Subscribe to an email sequence
Under Email Sequence, select the email sequence you created for this quiz result/filter
Hit Save Action
13. Click Save on your Kajabi automation, then click Close to return to your form.
14. Repeat steps 9–13 for each quiz result (one automation per result).
15. Scroll up and click Save on the form.
Step 2. Enable Lead Generation and select Zapier
Before Zapier can receive quiz leads, you need to enable Lead Generation on the quiz you want to connect.

Log in to Interact.
From your dashboard, go to Quizzes.
Click Edit to open the quiz builder.
Go to Lead Generation and enable the opt-in form
Under Integration, find Zapier and click Connect.
⚠️ Only the default Opt-In Form fields are supported when connecting your quiz to Zapier. Custom fields added to your quiz opt-in form cannot be sent through the Zapier integration.
Step 3. Get your Interact API Key
You’ll use your Interact API Key to connect your Interact account to Zapier.
In the integration setup flow, go to the API Key step and locate your Interact API Key.
Click to copy the API key.
⚠️ Keep your API key secure. Access to this key could lead to unauthorized access of your quiz leads.
Step 4. Connect Zapier integration
Next, create a Zap in Zapier and connect it to your Interact account using the API key you copied.
Log in to Zapier.
Click + Create, then select Zaps.
3. Select Trigger.
4. Search for and select Interact.
5. For Trigger event, select New Lead.
6. Under Account, click Sign in.
7. Paste your Interact API Key, then select Yes, Continue to Interact.
8. Click Continue.
Step 5. Configure the New Lead trigger in Zapier
When a new lead is collected from your Interact quiz, this trigger will fire in Zapier.
In Zapier, in the Configure step for the trigger, select the Quiz you want to connect.
2. Click Continue.
3. In the Test step, click Test trigger.
4. Select a sample Lead B record, then click Continue with selected record.
⚠️ Only the following fields can be collected from your quiz and sent through Zapier:
Email Address
Quiz Result Tag
First Name
Last Name
Company
Phone Number
Zip Code
Quiz answers cannot be collected through Zapier. They can be viewed in your Quiz Analytics instead.
Step 6. Set up your Kajabi action
After your Interact trigger is working, add a Kajabi action in Zapier to send the lead into the Kajabi form you created.
In Zapier, under Action, search for and select Kajabi. (help.tryinteract.com)
2. Under Setup:
Select Create Form Submission for Action Event
Add your Kajabi account (Required information can be found under Account Details in your Kajabi Account)
Click Continue
3. Under Configure:
Select your Kajabi Site
Select your Kajabi Form you created for quiz leads to be sent to
Hit the + sign to add the matching field for First Name and Email Address
Hit the + sign and select Tag: Interact Quiz Result for Result
Click Continue
4. Under Test, select Test Step, then publish the Zap.
Step 7. Send a test lead
Before relying on your Zap, confirm the full flow works end-to-end.
In Interact, return to your quiz and click Activate Connection under the API Key section in Lead Generation.

Confirm the test lead arrived (including the Result field, if you mapped it)
Step 8. Publish your quiz
Any Lead Generation or integration changes you make won’t be live until your quiz is published.
Before sharing your quiz:
Click Publish in the top-right corner of the quiz editor.
2. Confirm your changes by clicking Publish changes.
Once published, your Zapier connection can send new quiz leads to Kajabi from the live version of your quiz.
Disable Zapier integration for your quiz
If you want to stop sending leads from a specific quiz to Zapier, you can disable the integration without removing your Zapier setup.
Go to Lead Generation > Integrations.
Navigate to the Connect step.
Click Disable.
⚠️ Remember: After making changes to your integration or opt-in form, publish all changes to update your live quiz.
Once disabled, new quiz submissions from this quiz will no longer be sent to Zapier. Your other quizzes are unaffected.
❗Important: After disconnecting an integration from your quiz, your opt-in form will remain disabled until a new or existing integration is connected. Select .csv File Download to keep your opt-in form enabled with no integration connected.
Disconnect your Zapier account
Disconnecting your Zapier connection removes the authentication between Interact and Zapier for your account connection.
Log in to your Interact dashboard.
Click on Integrations
Find Zapier, then click Disconnect, and confirm by hitting Disconnect again.
❗ Important: After disconnecting Zapier, the following effects occur:
Your Zapier connection will stop working for any quizzes that rely on it.
No new quiz leads will be sent to Zapier until you reconnect and re-activate the connection.
