Interact allows anyone to build and publish quizzes, forms, and other interactive content. That openness depends on people using the platform responsibly. This page explains what we consider appropriate and prohibited content on quizzes built with Interact, and how to report content or activity that violates our Terms of Service.
This policy applies to all content created, published, or collected through Interact — including quiz questions and answers, result pages, embedded images or media, form fields, and any text submitted by respondents.
Appropriate Content
Quizzes and forms built on Interact should:
Be lawful in the jurisdictions where they are published and used
Respect the privacy and rights of respondents and third parties
Accurately represent who is publishing the content and why
Collect only the personal information reasonably needed for the stated purpose of the quiz or form
Disclose clearly if the content is an advertisement, sponsored, or intended to generate leads
Prohibited Content
The following are not permitted on any quiz, form, result page, or associated content hosted through Interact, consistent with Section 5 of our Terms of Service:
Harassment & Threats
Harassing, threatening, intimidating, predatory, or stalking content directed at any individual or group
Content that encourages violence or self-harm
Hate & Discrimination
Content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or other protected characteristic
Sexual & Obscene Content
Content that is obscene, pornographic, indecent, or lewd
Sexual content involving minors in any form (this is reported directly to law enforcement/NCMEC in addition to removal)
Deception & Impersonation
Impersonating another person, brand, or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation with one
Defamatory or knowingly false statements about a real person or organization
Phishing & Credential Harvesting
Quizzes or forms that impersonate a legitimate service (a bank, email provider, social network, or workplace login) to collect a respondent's username, password, or one-time verification code
Forms designed to deceive respondents into revealing financial account details, government ID numbers, or other sensitive credentials under false pretenses
Privacy Violations
Publishing another person's private information (address, phone number, financial details, government ID, etc.) without their consent
Collecting sensitive personal data from respondents without a lawful basis or clear disclosure
Intellectual Property Infringement
Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Note: this sometimes happens unintentionally - a creator may not realize a logo, name, or asset they used is protected. For minor cases, we may reach out to the creator first before taking action
To file a copyright (DMCA) claim specifically, see Section 9 of our Terms of Service.
Malicious Technical Content
Links, embeds, or uploaded files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive code
Scraping, spam, or bulk unsolicited distribution of quiz links
Illegal Activity
Content that facilitates illegal goods, services, or activity (e.g., sale of controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit goods)
Unauthorized commercial use of the Interact platform itself
If you're unsure whether something crosses a line, report it - our team reviews every submission.
How to Report Abuse
If you believe a quiz or respondent submission violates this policy or our Terms of Service, report it using either method below.
Report by Email
Send an email to help@tryinteract.com with the subject line Quiz Abuse Report, including as much of the following as you can:

A description of the content or behavior you're reporting, and which category above it falls under
Screenshots, if available
Your contact information, in case we need to follow up (reports may be submitted anonymously, but we may not be able to investigate fully without a way to reach you)
