How to Add Images to Your Quiz Questions and Answers

Adding images to your quiz questions and answers helps make your quiz more visual and easier to scan. You can add images (or videos) to questions, and you can also add images to answer choices directly in the quiz builder.

Adding a Quiz Question Image or Video

  1. Go to your quiz editor and click on the question where you want to add an image.

  2. Click the settings icon.

  3. Turn off Hide question image and hit Save.

  4. Click on the image box.

  5. Choose how you would like to add your image:

    Search for Images: Use a keyword to find stock photos in Unsplash

    Search for GIFs: Use a keyword to find GIFs in Giphy

    Search for a Video: Paste the URL for a YouTube or Vimeo video

    Upload: Select an image from your computer (recommended size: 900px by 400px)

  6. Adjust or crop the image if needed, then click Crop image.

  7. Once you’ve selected your image, click Select Image.

Removing a Quiz Question Image or Video

  1. Go to your quiz editor and click on the question where you want to remove the question image.

  2. Click the settings icon.

  3. Turn on Hide question image

  4. Hit Save.

Adding Image Answers

  1. Open the question you want to edit.

  2. Click the settings icon.

  3. Turn on Use image answers and click Save.

  4. Click on the image box for the answer choice.

  5. Add an image using one of the following options:

  • Search for Images in Unsplash or GIFs in Giphy

  • Upload an image (Recommended size: 300px by 250px)

6. Repeat for each answer choice.

7. Click Save.

8. Publish your quiz to make your changes live.

Removing Image Answers

  1. Go to your quiz editor and click on the question where you want to remove the question image.

  2. Click the settings icon.

  3. Turn off Use image answers.

  4. Hit Save.

Replacing an Image

  1. Click on the image you want to replace.

  2. Click Replace Image.

Step 3: Choose a new image using search, upload, or URL.

Step 4: Click Save.

Deleting an Image

  1. Click on the question or answer image you want to remove.

  2. Click Delete image to remove the image

  3. Click Save.

Cropping an Image

  1. Click on the question or answer image you want to crop

  2. Click Crop to crop the image

  3. Adjust and resize the image.

  4. Click Crop image.

Tips for Best Results

  1. Use high-quality, clear images

  2. Keep image styles consistent across answers

  3. Use simple visuals that are easy to understand

  4. Recommended size: 900px x 400px for question images and 300px x 250px for answer images

  5. Design images in Canva for best results
